Shauntele Doll in L'Eclat Dress

Shauntele's designs are made from fabrics that hug and flow, embracing the wearer in graceful, contemporary style. It's no wonder she won the "Are You Runway Ready" 2010 contest with her Fall/Winter 2010 collection. Combining the unique with the classic, Shauntele's approach demonstrates a respect for the modern woman's duality. Multidimensional femininity and function meet to create versatile classics and novel elegance. She's been pegged "as a designer to watch...with flattering lines and a unique color palette" by a Bloomingdale's fashion director, while the collection has also been deemed "newsworthy" by the likes of Jorge Ramon, former fashion editor of Teen People.

Spring 2012 will be an optimistic celebration of color, signifying a fresh start for the assertive 20-somethings coming into their own. Dressed in Shauntele, life will never catch them without an option, guaranteed to wow onlookers at every opportunity.

About Shauntele
Shauntele is a New York native with the ability to fuse her worldly experiences into refined creative expression. Even her younger days at the exclusive boarding school, Choate Rosemary Hall, found her pushing the fashion boundaries of prep to develop an ever-evolving, ever-eye catching style all her own. All grown up Shauntele's contrasting industry experiences, of having once overseen factories in India to consulting designer brands on luxury European textiles, have created her palpable desire to instead see New York once again become the center for fashion innovation. Shauntele embodies the Made in Midtown movement with a collection manufactured 100% in the heart of the Garment Center.
